ACCOMMODATION
The cottage has a small entrance porch which leads through into the warm and welcoming sitting room at the front of the cottage with its beamed ceiling, oak floors, comfortable seating, antique pine dresser and multifuel stove. A door from the sitting room leads to the spacious and stone flagged farmhouse style dining kitchen with a white Shaker style kitchen, beamed ceiling, and antique pine dining table. Painted tongue and groove boarding adds to the cottage style. Downstairs there is also a separate toilet and a modern shower room. Upstairs is the master bedroom with an antique style wrought iron bed, second double bedroom with pretty views over gardens and to the hills beyond and a single bedroom. There is a further bathroom with bath, washbasin, toilet and airing cupboard. To the rear of the cottage there is a small private walled patio garden with furniture. Laura Ashley fabrics and Farrow and Ball paints are used throughout the cottage and add to its special cottage ambience.

Whilst the cottage does not have a designated parking place, parking is rarely a problem and there is both on street and off road parking within a few yards of the cottage. Village shops and pubs 2-3 minutes walk. Children welcome but please bring your own cot and high chair.
Electricity included in the hire charge, coal will be provided for the multifuel stove with the first bucket of coal provided in the hire charge. We ask that you pay us 50p per bucket of coal after that on an honesty basis to cover our costs, and we will ensure that sufficient coal is available for your stay. Firelighters, and matches are provided so that you have everything that you need to use the stove should you so wish.
Towel hire available. Sorry no pets or smokers.
